We are happy to announce that the Powertrans S.A. has officially acquired all significant assets of the Lloyd Dynamowerke on 1st April, 2017.
The Lloyd Dynamowerke obtain a strong partner with the Luxembourg-based enterprise Powertrans. Sole shareholder of Powertrans is Mr. Dr.-Ing. Sepp Lachenmaier.
Mr. Lachenmaier is performing as management consultant and restructuring specialist for leading private equity fonds and investors for more than 25 years. In his most recent project as managing majority partner, Mr. Lachenmaier has successfully restructured the international operating company for packaging machines “ROVEMA Gruppe”.
He will be assisted by Mr. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Recktenwald as co-partner and managing director of the new Lloyd Dynamowerke GmbH. Mr. Recktenwald has long-term experience in the range of drive technology as CEO of WINERGY AG, F&G Antriebstechnik GmbH and LOHER GmbH among others.
LDW develops, produces and distributes special custom-made electrical motors and generators for industrial applications and is one of the technology leaders in these market segments. Under Powertrans S.A. the previous product program will be continued. In future it is planned to extend the portfolio by the field of drive technology to able to perform as system provider.
The corporate name “Lloyd Dynamowerke GmbH” which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2015 remains unchanged as well as your known contact persons and their contact details.
